Congratulations Martha Fomison

Brisbane Girls’ Grammar School student bassoonist, Martha Fomison (right), has just won the 2026 Gillies Chamber Music Prize with her performance of the Devienne Bassoon Quartet. Adjudicator, Trish Dean, commended Martha’s advanced technique and super-accurate intonation. Martha plays a Renard Artist 240D bassoon with a Musson MK reed.
