In 2025, Musson Bassoon Reeds celebrates 46 years in business.
Established by Peter and Joanna Musson in 1979, the business was based on Peter's many decades of experience as a professional bassoonist. His knowledge and expertise, combined with the finest German reed-making equipment, resulted in the steady production of high quality bassoon reeds for many customers around the world.
Musson Bassoon Reeds are fully manufactured in Brisbane, Australia, from tube cane right
through to the finished product.
We are the Australian agents for Fox Products and are proud to represent this fine company.
2024 marks Fox's 75th anniversary. To celebrate, Fox have launched the new model 750
Professional Bassoon, soon to be available internationally.
